Standard Logos are made of iconic images and typography, designed in a unique way to associate with your band. Sometimes less is better! A standard logo is great for a band because it is simple and identifiable, and easy to use on merch and advertisements. Think of popular logos for bands like AC/DC, The Beatles, Metallica, Nirvana, Korn, Muse, Nine Inch Nails, Daft Punk, etc… Most of us can easily picture their logos. The biggest bands have a logo that has limited colors and is mostly, if not entirely made of typography alone! Google “band logos” for more examples.
